Weekend Extravaganza part 1.

wooh.. I have to say, I've really enjoyed my saturday and sunday last week!

Last saturday and sunday was the Toycon ph: The Philippine toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention that was held in SM Megamall B mega tradehall 1, 2, and 3. It was my first time to attend this kind of big event.

If you're a fan of animes, cartoons, action figures, online games, game consoles, and cosplay, this event will fit you. So many toys that are on sales, action figures that on display, cosplayers who wants to join the cosplay event, latest movies and many more. It is all activities in one event. TOYCON is a large event that occurs every year.

My first day in toycon was a bit tiring, coz I came from my office and also I'm at my SOLO FLIGHT mode. My younger brother and a friend of mine will not be available so I have to go there on myself. I arrived in the megamall tradehall at 1pm. I'm glad that I did not miss some of the featured event. I saw many cool stuffs like collectibles from my favorite anime/cartoons, superheroes, movie characters and many more! If only I am capable of buying some cool stuffs, I think I've already bought some.

Ooops.. what I realize during the toycon event is that, the cosplayers over populated the toy maniacs. you can include the people who attended the event just to see the cosplay goddess Miss Alodia Gosiengfiao. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I felt and saw.. :) you can say that. "naglipana ang mga cosplayers" during that event. 

I really dont know much of the result of the cosplay competitions, since I'm roaming around the area for toys seeing, and ofcourse to get a chance to see and greet alodia and ashley gosiengfiao.

Exactly 5pm.. the meidolls cafe performed a special number.. ofcourse many of their fans supported them, one of them ofcourse is me..

The winners of the individual cosplay competition also got the chance to be a part of the Cosplay Nation movie.

Also held on the first day of the event is the Asia Cosplay Meet Philippines finals, which was won by the group "Tenshi no Mao" composed of  Ryo Enriquez, Marianne Topacio, and Claudine de Jesus.

The group will represent the Philippines in the Asia Cosplay Meet Grand Finals in Singapore to be held on June 25 and 26 against cosplayers from Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, and a country yet to be named.
